University of Eldoret 19th Agribusiness Trade Fair 2026 Kicks Off in Eldoret

The 19th University of Eldoret Agribusiness Trade Fair 2026 is officially underway at the University of Eldoret main campus, with all roads leading to Eldoret for the biggest agribusiness showcase in the North Rift.
The three-day fair, running from September 24th to 26th, 2026, is being held under the theme:
Promoting Innovative Climate-Smart Farmer-Centered Agribusiness for Sustainable Inclusive Development.
The theme underscores the urgent need to equip farmers with climate-resilient technologies and inclusive business models to drive food security and economic growth.
The fair was officially opened today by Dr. Sam Kotut, CEC for Agriculture, Uasin Gishu County, on behalf of Governor H.E Jonathan Bii Chelilim.
He was hosted by University of Eldoret Vice Chancellor Prof. Thomas Cheruiyot, who said the University remains committed to transforming agriculture through research, innovation and farmer empowerment.
This year’s edition is bigger, better and different, featuring over 100 exhibitors showcasing climate-smart seeds, smart farming tech, dairy innovations, value addition, and agri-financing solutions.

Farmers, students, investors and agripreneurs from across the country are expected to learn, connect and grow during the three-day extravaganza.
The fair runs until Friday, 26th September 2026.
