Kenyan Shoppers Receive Cars, School Fees and Holiday Prizes in Nationwide Promotion

Several Kenyan shoppers have received prizes worth millions of shillings after emerging winners in a month-long consumer promotion conducted across Carrefour stores nationwide.

During a prize handover ceremony held on June 26, the winners were awarded brand-new vehicles, school fees vouchers, home appliances and fully paid holiday trips.

The promotion, which ran for four weeks, was open to customers who purchased selected household products from participating Carrefour outlets. Eligible shoppers were automatically entered into a prize draw.

Besides the prizes, shoppers also accessed discounts of up to 50 per cent on selected household products during the campaign.

The initiative comes at a time when many households continue to grapple with the rising cost of living, with transport, education and other basic expenses remaining key financial concerns for many families.

The promotion featured products in cooking oil, laundry care, dishwashing, personal care and petroleum jelly categories.
