The new health facility is expected to improve access to essential medical services for residents of Kapkoros and surrounding areas, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances in search of healthcare.

During the commissioning, President Ruto said his administration would continue investing in the health sector as part of efforts to strengthen service delivery and improve the welfare of Kenyans.

His visit to Bomet also attracted large crowds, with residents turning out to receive the Head of State and witness the launch and inspection of various national government projects in the region.

As he seeks a second term in office, President Ruto urged Kenyans to rise above political, ethnic and other differences and maintain peace, saying national unity remains critical to the country’s development.

He called on citizens to focus on issues that unite them and avoid divisions that could undermine peace and development.
