RUTO BLASTS UHURU: “MOST UNGRATEFUL MAN I’VE MET”

By Isaac Kogey | ELDORET,

President William Ruto has launched a scathing attack on his former boss Uhuru Kenyatta, calling him the most ungrateful and deceitful person he has ever met.

Speaking in Nandi and Uasin Gishu on Monday, Ruto said he backed Uhuru 4 times – 2002, 2013 and twice in 2017 – but Uhuru paid him back with betrayal by refusing to support him in 2022 and now campaigning against him for 2027.

“You are the most ungrateful person I have met. You are the most deceitful character I have met,” Ruto said.

He also accused Uhuru of “conning Raila, Kalonzo and Matiang’i” and warned opposition leaders to be wary of him.

Ruto said he has fixed Uhuru’s mess – CBC, debt, economy – and is now ready for 2027.

“If that election is about performance and track record, we are ready,” he said, listing roads, SHA covering 33M Kenyans, affordable housing and cheap fertiliser.

He was accompanied by CSs Murkomen, Wandayi, Governors Sang, Bii and a host of MPs.

Ruto is on a development tour where he launched roads, housing, markets and power connectivity projects worth billions in Nandi and Uasin Gishu.
