Kenya’s rising motorsport sensation Amaan Ganatra has received a major boost ahead of the 2026 racing season after landing sponsorship support from JCB, Royal Enfield, Godrej and Kove.
The 17-year-old driver unveiled the partnership on Friday, 15th May 2026, alongside Ganatra Plant and Equipment Sales Manager Suhhel Yakub, in what is being viewed as one of the biggest sponsorship packages assembled for an emerging Kenyan motorsport talent in recent years.
The sponsorship will power Amaan’s ambitious 2026 campaign across multiple disciplines locally and internationally, including the national autocross championship, Motorsport Kenya events and the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship in Britain. He will compete behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Evo 9 alongside navigator Mudasar Chaudry.
Speaking during the unveiling, Suhhel Yakub said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to performance, precision and talent development.
“JCB and Royal Enfield are precision brands built on performance and reliability, and that is exactly what Amaan delivers in motorsport.”
Amaan heads into the new season carrying strong momentum after clinching the 2025 Shell Autocross Championship title in the 4WD Restricted category. He has continued to break barriers for Kenyan motorsport, becoming the first Kenyan to compete in the European Autocross Championship in 2022 and later the first Kenyan to secure pole position in a qualifying heat of the British Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill Race Circuit.
Ahead of the season opener at Stoni Athi Resort on Sunday, 17th May, Amaan expressed confidence in the new partnership and his ambitions for the year.
“This is the season I want to make a real statement. Last year I proved I could compete at the front. This year I want to win consistently across all disciplines.”
With growing corporate confidence, international experience and strong performances on the track, Amaan Ganatra is shaping up to be one of the standout names in Kenyan motorsport during the 2026 season.
