Sorobit urged youths who have not yet registered as voters to turn up in large numbers and take advantage of the remaining days.

“I am happy to report that there is a good number of new voters who have turned up to register in Bomet County. I would like to urge youths, especially those who have not registered, to do so in order to exercise their democratic rights in the next general elections,” she said.

Bomet County Election Manager Naisiae Tobiko said that despite minor challenges experienced during the exercise, all the five sub-counties in Bomet have managed to register a significant number of voters.

“So far, we have managed to register a good number of voters, but we are not saying that is enough. Youths who have uncollected Identification Cards (IDs) are urged to collect them and register within the remaining five days,” Tobiko said.
