Narok Governor Commissions 5.8km of Newly Tarmacked Roads

By Nicholas Rono, NAROK,

Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu has commissioned 5.8 kilometers of newly tarmacked roads in Narok Township under his administration’s ongoing infrastructure development program.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Thursday, was attended by UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar, local leaders, and residents. Ntutu said the projects were identified through public consultations, where residents raised concerns over the poor state of township roads.

The upgraded roads include Prison Road, Noolmong’i Road, Lower Lenana Road, and Garage Loop, all of which have been completed to bitumen standards. The projects were financed through the county’s 2024/2025 Financial Year budget.

According to the governor, the improvements are expected to ease transport, boost accessibility, and enhance the overall infrastructure within Narok Town.
