Bomet man sentenced to 150 years for killing his 3 children

Bomet High Court has sentenced a 40-year-old man to 150 years after he was found guilty of murdering his own three children.

Benard kipkemoi Kirui was found guilty of murdering his 3 sons, Amos kipngetich(12), Vincent Kiprotich(8) and Emanuel kipronoh (5yrs) in the year 2019 while their mother was not around.

Giving the sentence, Hon. Justice Julius kipkosgei Ngar-ngar said the sentence will serve as an example to those with intent to commit murder.

However, he stated that, benard kipkemoi Kirui has 14 days to appeal the sentence.

Sharon Cherono, wife to the convict, welcomes the ruling and thanks the court for finally serving justice to her.
