Fluorspar Revival Gains Momentum as Investor Sets Aside KSh1 Billion, Says Dr. Micah Kigen

Residents of Keiyo South have received renewed hope over the revival of the once-thriving Fluorspar mining operations after Keiyo South parliamentary aspirant Dr. Micah Kigen revealed that plans to revive the sector are already underway.

 

Speaking to congregants at FGCK Kapkonga, Dr. Kigen disclosed that a new investor has already completed an assessment of the Fluorspar project and committed approximately KSh1 billion toward its revival.

According to Dr. Kigen, the investor is currently putting in place the necessary strategies aimed at ensuring the successful extraction and processing of fluorspar resources, a move expected to restore jobs and stimulate economic growth in the region.

 

He urged the governor to be in the front line in giving people of Keiyo hope as there’s progress and the investor is laying down the necessary strategies to get the best of the fluoride.
