Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba has assured Kenyans that this year’s Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) examinations have proceeded smoothly, with no major challenges reported.

Speaking at Sotik in Bomet County during the opening of an examination container, Ogamba said the national assessments had been conducted without significant disruptions.

The Cabinet Secretary made the remarks while overseeing examination preparedness and the secure distribution of examination materials, underscoring the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity and smooth administration of national assessments.

His statement comes as learners across the country undertake the assessments, marking an important milestone in the implementation of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) system.
