Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association Bomet County football champions Tenwek High School emerged victorious after edging out Kaplong Boys High School 1-0 in a thrilling county final.
The highly anticipated match, played at Silibwet Stadium, attracted large crowds of supporters from both schools.
The two teams displayed impressive talent, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the contest, but Tenwek High ultimately secured the narrow victory to claim the county title.

Speaking after the match, Tenwek High coach Nelson Nyongesa congratulated both teams for their outstanding performance and encouraged young athletes to continue working hard.
He noted that sports and talent are developed and nurtured through schools, emphasizing the important role educational institutions play in identifying and supporting young talent.
Following their triumph, Tenwek High School will represent Bomet County at the regional games scheduled to be held in Nakuru in July.
The victory marks a significant achievement for Tenwek High as they now shift their focus to competing against the best teams from across the region.
