The Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Angata Ward in Trans Mara South, Narok County, Joseph Koech Tekeltich, has called on residents of Angata Barikoi to continue maintaining peace to foster development in the area.
Speaking to Kass Media in Bomet, Koech applauded the residents of Angata Barikoi for the continued peaceful coexistence among different communities living in the area.
“I am happy with the residents of Angata Barikoi for the good coexistence with other communities in the area. I urge them to continue maintaining peace so that development can be realized,” said Koech.
He also urged residents of Emurua Dikirr to maintain peace during the upcoming by-election, emphasizing the importance of a peaceful democratic process.
“We do not want to hear of chaos in Emurua Dikirr during the upcoming by-election. Let every candidate present his or her manifesto, and the people of Emurua Dikirr will decide who to elect,” he added.
Koech further used the opportunity to praise President William Ruto for his development agenda in Angata, particularly efforts aimed at addressing land disputes in the region.
