KNCCI Mourns the Passing of Former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has joined the nation in mourning the passing of former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, describing him as an illustrious son of Kenya whose legacy will forever shape the country’s democratic and economic journey.

In a statement, KNCCI President Dr. Erick Rutto conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Chamber’s National Board of Directors, National Governing Council, County Directors, and members across the country.
Dr. Rutto lauded the late Odinga’s courage in championing reforms, fighting corruption, and promoting inclusivity and national unity. He noted that throughout Kenya’s moments of challenge, Raila Odinga always chose peace and dialogue over division, putting the country’s stability above personal or political interests.
The Chamber acknowledged Odinga’s immense contribution to Kenya’s democratic evolution and his role in shaping the country’s governance systems and economic discourse.
