In Nandi County, a new collaboration is taking shape—one that puts young people and small businesses at the center of Kenya’s economic growth agenda.

The State Department for MSMEs Development, under the leadership of Susan Mang’eni, PS, is partnering with Kasmuel Mc’oure, Convenor of the Broad-Based Youth Front, to unlock opportunities for youth and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

This collaboration focuses on ensuring young people gain timely access to information, resources, and tools that drive economic empowerment. Key government initiatives such as the Hustler Fund, NYOTA Project, and Shared User Spaces will be amplified to increase awareness, uptake, and impact at the grassroots.

By promoting value addition, enterprise scaling, and innovation, the partnership aims to help MSMEs grow sustainably creating jobs, resilient livelihoods, and hope for a new generation.
