Pit Latrine Collapses in a Turbo School, Killing 3 Learners

Queen of Angels primary school in Turbo Sub County has been thrown into mourning following the death of three grade one learners who died after a pit latrine caved in on Thursday morning.
The pupils had just reported to school and decided to go to the latrine where it started sinking while they were inside.
It is reported that one girl discovered that the pit latrine was sinking and managed to jump out.
All learners have so far been accounted for and the bodies of the three minors have been taken to MTRH Mortuary.
The school has been closed temporarily following the tragedy as police conduct investigation.
