By Albert Tonui || Kass Digital

Barely 5 months since Kass exposed the deplorable condition of Angata Boys secondary school in Narok county, Kilgoris NG-CDF office has allocated 4 million shillings for renovation of 7 classrooms and the administration block.

The NG-CDF chairman Gideon Ole Saruni confirms that the office, whose patron is the area MP Julius Ole Sunkuli, allocated the funds to improve the school which has greatly dilapidated.

Notable leaders such as Narok’s first governor Samuel ole Tunai and Angata Barikoi MCA Joseph Koech among others studied in the school.

Kilgoris MP Julius ole Sunkuli said they decided to save the institution and bring back its past glory through renovation, a move lauded by parents and area residents.

”We thank the Mp for saving the image of this school that has produced great people. The school is now back to its first glory. We expect Sunkuli to keep on renewing other schools in our area,” said Corneli Simotwo who chairs the school’s Parents Teachers Association.

The parents urged other residents from the area to embrace their schools and enroll their children. “Now that our school is rejuvenated, let us bring our children to this school and other schools within the area so that our schools can grow,” said Joel Kirui.
