Coca-Cola and Kenya Airways Deliver Festive Surprise to Travellers

Christmas arrived early for Kenya Airways passengers this week as Coca-Cola transformed journeys into festive experiences at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and onboard flights to Mombasa. Travellers received Christmas-themed gift hampers at the terminal, with the celebration continuing mid-air at 31,000 feet, turning the busy travel hub into an unexpected scene of holiday joy.

 

The activation is part of Coca-Cola’s nationwide Christmas campaign under the theme “The World Needs More Santas,” aimed at inspiring acts of kindness. According to Monique Katana, Coca-Cola’s Director of Frontline Marketing for East and Central Africa, the partnership with Kenya Airways targeted airports as ideal venues to spread cheer, as many Kenyans travel during the festive season to reunite with families.

 

The campaign also features the iconic Coca-Cola Caravan, which is touring markets and communities across Kenya, distributing local goods and encouraging shared moments of kindness. Coca-Cola is inviting the public to share their own “Santa moments” on its digital platforms to further amplify the spirit of giving throughout the holiday season.
