Police Launch Manhunt for Father Accused of Defiling 3-Year-Old Daughter

Police in Chepalungu Sub-County have launched a manhunt for a man accused of defiling his three-year-old daughter.

 

The child’s mother, Sharon Langat, a resident of Singoiwek village, Segemik Sub-location, reported the incident at Olbutyo Police Station on Sunday while in the company of the minor. She alleged that her husband, Stanley Langat, committed the offence.

 

The victim was taken to Olbutyo Health Centre where a medical examination was conducted and a P3 Form filled.

 

According to police, the suspect is still at large, but efforts to trace and apprehend him are ongoing.

 

Cases of rape and defilement continue to be a major concern in Bomet County, with authorities urging community members to report incidents promptly to aid investigations.
