Why Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok was arrested?
According to the EACC Spokesperson Erick Ngumbi, Barchok was taken to custody amidst probe into allegations of conflict of interest and theft of public funds in the county.
EACC are also investigating various premises associated with the county boss for possible criminal activities.
Barchok will later be escorted to the EACC South Rift Regional Offices in Nakuru for statement recording.
