Abigael Jepkoech, an 18-year-old form four student at Kapnasu Secondary School in Moiben sub-county, Eldoret, has shown remarkable resilience and determination. While sitting for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam, she gave birth to a baby girl.

Thanks to the kindness of Collins Kiprotich Towett, a security officer at the school, Abigael was able to finish her exam with dignity.

Towett, who is an Administration Police officer, took care of the newborn, allowing Abigael to complete her paper.

“I’m grateful to Collins for his help,” Abigael said. “I was worried about my exam, but he reassured me that everything would be okay.”

Abigael’s story is an inspiration to many, and her bravery will surely pave the way for a brighter future.
