Fire raze down shops in Olmekenyu

A Business community at Olmekenyu, Melelo ward in Narok south sub-county are unhappy lot after wild fire razes down their shops into ashes as the course of the fire is still unknown.
Speaking to Kass FM and Kass TV, Angela Ngetich who hails from Olmekenyu and a business lady in the shopping centre said she witnessed the wild fire in early morning at 4am which consumes to ashes a number of shops.
She said the fire extinguishers from Narok county responded late when the shops had already been destroyed.
“We just witnessed fire helplessly razing down our shops without any help since the machines for fighting fire are far from here”, She lamented.
The Kenya Redcross managed to reach that place to check on any casualties and they were saying that they have not find any one injured or killed in the incident.
