Standard Chartered Bank Kenya has announced a new partnership with Qatar Airways to launch an exclusive travel campaign for its affluent clients. Branded “Your Wealth Deserves a World-Class Journey,” the initiative offers up to 32% in collective travel discounts, including 12% off Qatar Airways flights, 10% off Qatar Holidays, and 10% off Qatar Airways Student Club fares.
Clients will also earn 4,000 Privilege Club points and enjoy enhanced Standard Chartered Visa benefits such as triple reward points for online bookings, complimentary access to over 1,200 global airport lounges, and up to USD 2.5 million in travel insurance coverage.

The collaboration aligns with Standard Chartered’s global affluent strategy, “Now’s Your Time for Wealth,” which seeks to expand its wealth management footprint and enhance lifestyle offerings for high-net-worth clients.
Edith Chumba, Head of Wealth & Retail Banking for Kenya and East Africa, said the partnership reinforces the bank’s commitment to offering experiences that go beyond traditional banking. “Our affluent clients seek exclusive privileges that reflect their global ambitions. This partnership delivers both premium travel experiences and financial empowerment, especially during the festive season,” she said.

Qatar Airways, a nine-time Skytrax Airline of the Year winner, operates three daily flights from Nairobi to its global network of over 170 destinations. Hendrik Du Prees, Vice President Africa & Global Leisure Sales, said the airline is proud to collaborate with Standard Chartered to provide seamless travel and lifestyle experiences. “Through this partnership, we’re ensuring Standard Chartered clients enjoy world-class travel benefits and service excellence throughout their journeys,” he noted.
With an international presence across 25 markets and major wealth hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Jersey, Standard Chartered is strategically positioned to serve Kenya’s growing base of high-net-worth individuals, which currently stands at 6,800 according to the 2025 Henley & Partners Wealth Report.
