Tiaty Mp Son Laid To Rest As Leaders Call For Unity Among Warring Communities

Sombre mood engulfed Kositei village in Tiaty Constituency, Baringo County during burial ceremony of Ballot Bill Kassait, the late son of Tiaty Member Parliament and Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait.
Ballot who was 14 years old was eulogized as hardworking and passionate Christian who devoted himself to Church and loved Japanese language also he had bright future but cut short by death.

Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait eulogized her son as charming and also lighted up the family every morning.
Tiaty MP William Kamket blamed Getrude’s Hospital for negligence which led to the death of his son days after admission saying the hospital must be investigated.

Among leaders who attended the sendoff include National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula, Head of Public Service Felix Kosgei and several Members of Parliament to mourn with the family.
Moses Wetangula mourned with the family following the loss of their son, he described Kamket’s as a hero who had done so many wonderful things despite his young age.

Leaders who spoke supported the re-election of President William Ruto in 2027 saying the region has witnessed peace development.
