Police Nab Bhang Worth 3M Shillings in Uasin Gishu

Bhang worth 3 million shillings has been seized by police officers in Uasin Gishu county.

 

The illicit consignment is being held at Baharini police station as investigations get underway.

‎The seizure was made after a tip-off from members of the public where two suspects were arrested in connection with the narcotics.

 

The police officers were conducting patrols on the Eldoret – Webuye highway when they intercepted the consignment from Malava, which was loaded into a lorry and destined for Mombasa.

‎The seizure was part of a larger effort by security officers to curb narcotics trafficking in the region.

 

The police commander, Benjamin Mwanthi, thanked members of the public for sharing crucial information that led to the success of the operation.
