North Rift Farmers Warned Against Buying Pest Products from Unlicensed Dealers

Farmers and members of the public in the North Rift region have been warned against purchasing Pests control products from unlicensed dealers that have been on the rise.
Pests control products board North Rift Manager Antony Wechuli says unscrupulous traders have been selling the products while disregarding public safety and laid regulations.
The board launched a crackdown within Eldoret city and Moi’s Bridge town where several unlicensed dealers were arrested before being presented at the Eldoret Law courts.
Wechuli has urged especially farmers to remain vigilant and utilize the services of the control board before buying the products that may pauses health risks to consumers of the crops they sell.
