Ex-Kilgoris MP Aspirant Defends Senator Cheruiyot in Suswa Project Row

Former Kilgoris MP aspirant Johanna Kamilan has come to the defense of Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot following sharp criticism from Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu over national projects in Suswa.

“Senator Cheruiyot has every right to speak on any national project and visit any part of Kenya,” Kamilan told Kass Digital, citing constitutional freedoms.

This follows an exchange where Cheruiyot accused Governor Ntutu of taking credit for MP-funded national projects, saying,

“Show us your own projects and stop taking advantage of MP-funded initiatives implemented through the national government in conjunction with the Narok East MP.”

Governor Ntutu hit back, accusing the senator of meddling in county matters and urging him to stay out of Narok politics.
