Eldoret to Host First-Ever KOROM Business Expo & Conference in December
By Kass Digital,
Eldoret is set to become the centre of business and cultural innovation as it prepares to host the inaugural KOROM Business Exposition & Conference from December 17–19, 2025, at the Eldoret Sports Club.
The new platform builds on the growing influence of the KOROM Festival, which has delivered memorable moments including super performances by Nikita Kering, H_art The Band, Njerae, Charisma and legendary Joel Kimeto in the past editions.
The conference aims to empower young entrepreneurs, SMEs, investors, and creatives by merging enterprise with Kenya’s rich cultural identity.

Under the theme “The Business of Transformation: Empowering People, Innovating Industries, Inspiring Growth,” the conference is expected to draw over 5,000 visitors and 500 business leaders. Organisers say the event’s goal is to spark conversations on economic transformation while opening up opportunities in agribusiness, technology, tourism, manufacturing, and the creative economy.
Festival Director Elvis Kittony noted that the expansion of KOROM into a business-focused event will give young innovators access to markets, networks, and development opportunities.
The expo arrives at a time when Uasin Gishu’s business landscape is rapidly growing, with more than 25,000 active SMEs and rising youth participation in enterprise, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) Economic Survey 2025. Attendees can expect high-level keynotes, investor roundtables, mentorship clinics, and a vibrant exhibition spotlighting Eldoret’s most innovative youth-led businesses.
The three-day conference will usher in the annual KOROM Festival on December 20, blending commerce and culture through performances, artisan showcases, and interactive experiences. Organisers hope the expanded festival will boost Eldoret’s economic activity and cement its rising status as a hub for enterprise and cultural tourism in the Rift Valley.

DJ Nosh, has led the evolution of Korom from a cultural celebration to a platform that now merges enterprise, innovation, and community development, setting the stage for a groundbreaking business-focused edition.
