Driver Escapes Death After Head-On Collision with Matatu on Bomet-Kaplong Highway

A Probox driver narrowly escaped death Sunday evening after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a Nissan matatu at Kirait area along the Bomet-Kaplong highway.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred during evening hours under unclear circumstances. The Probox driver sustained minor injuries and he was rushed to Kaplong Mission Hospital for treatment, while all passengers from both vehicles escaped unhurt.

Sotik traffic police swiftly arrived at the scene, and investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
