APS Bomet FC Focused on Facing KPL Giants

Bomet-based APS Bomet FC are set to unveil their squad for the upcoming Kenya Premier League (KPL) season as they gear up for pre-season preparations.
Head Coach Michael Naam is expected to announce the squad on Thursday morning at Kiprugut Chumo Stadium in Kericho, during an event that will also serve as the official unveiling of the new technical bench.
The much-anticipated announcement is likely to see several current APS Bomet players released, as the club finalizes its roster for top-tier competition.
The club’s board, led by Chairman Bishop Akama, will preside over the event, following an intense three-week scouting mission and a four-day trial session held last week at the Bomet IAAF Stadium.
APS Bomet has selected a pool of players from which the final KPL squad will be chosen.
The club has also officially settled on Kiprugut Chumo Stadium in Kericho as their home ground for KPL matches. The decision follows the ongoing upgrade of the Bomet IAAF Stadium to meet FIFA standards.
APS Bomet Patron and Cabinet Secretary for Interior, Kipchumba Murkomen, recently toured the Bomet IAAF Stadium alongside Sports Stadia Kenya officials. The site was officially handed over to a contractor tasked with the upgrades.
CS Murkomen assured fans that the stadium will be ready before the end of the first leg of the KPL season, allowing APS Bomet to host their second-leg matches on home soil.
