“ODM is in the Broad-Based Government to stay, and it will support President Ruto’s re-election in the next general election,” Wandayi said.

The Cabinet Secretary dismissed the United Opposition, arguing that it lacks a clear agenda and the capacity to pose a serious political challenge to President Ruto in 2027. He called on Kenyans to prioritize development initiatives over what he termed as political distractions.

Later, Wandayi launched additional Last Mile Connectivity projects in Chemaner (Bomet East Constituency) and Chemomul (Bomet Central Constituency). He emphasized the government’s commitment to expanding electricity access in Bomet County and across the country as a key driver of economic growth and improved livelihoods.
