From kids asking for running gear to the birth of a Gold label Cross Country!
I am not an athlete, nor have I ever pursued athletics professionally, but I come from a community deeply rooted in athletics.
One day, two children approached me—not asking for food or money, but for something simple: shoes for their training. Their determination moved me. I bought them running gear, and they didn’t disappoint.
But as I watched their potential unfold, bigger questions arose: Where would they train? Where would they compete?
And that’s how the Great Chepsaita Cross Country was born!
